Hycone Task Tracker is a web-based field team task management system built specifically for infrastructure companies. It helps manage BMS, SCADA, ELV, MEP, PLC, and Fire Alarm projects across multiple sites with features like task assignment, progress tracking, visual dashboards, and automated notifications.
How many engineers can use the system?
The system is designed to handle 25-50+ field engineers across multiple project sites simultaneously. The admin can create unlimited engineer accounts and manage them all from a centralized dashboard.
Does it require any app installation?
No. Hycone Task Tracker is a web application that runs in any modern browser. Engineers and admins can access it from desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones without installing any software.
What kind of visual reports does it provide?
The system offers comprehensive analytics including pie charts for task distribution, bar charts for site progress, line graphs for completion trends, Kanban boards for visual task management, calendar views for deadline tracking, engineer performance scorecards with scoring, and heatmaps for workload analysis.
How does the notification system work?
Every important event triggers notifications through two channels: email and dashboard bell alerts. Events include task assignments, priority changes, deadline alerts, overdue warnings, progress submissions, and notice board posts. Admin receives daily summary emails every morning.
Is the data secure?
The system implements 10 security layers based on OWASP standards: bcrypt password hashing, brute force protection with account lockout, IP-based rate limiting, CSRF token validation, XSS prevention, SQL injection protection via prepared statements, secure file upload handling with MIME validation, role-based access control, HTTPS encryption, and comprehensive security monitoring with audit trails.
Can I export data from the system?
Yes. You can export task data and engineer reports as CSV files compatible with Excel. Full database backups can be downloaded as SQL files from the admin panel.
How does the daily progress feature work?
Engineers submit daily progress for each task including description of work done, completion percentage, hours worked, materials used, and mandatory site photos. Admin can review, approve or reject each submission. Engineers who miss their daily submission receive automatic reminders.
